Pastors need good books in order to study God’s word. Yet good study texts published in the local language and for the local context are rare indeed.
Our Publishing Grant (PG) program seeks to support Majority World preaching and teaching by coming alongside Majority World publishers, stimulating the production of study texts for students and pastors.
Our grants focus on places in the world where there is a significant lack of resources available at the student level, such as in Sri Lanka, Albania and Indonesia. Most of our grants support texts in local languages, including a Chinese language Bible commentary, a Croatian language theological dictionary and Nepalese language Bible expositions.
Grants of $3500 facilitate the translation and publication of titles in the local languages for training local pastors.
Please give £700 / $1,000 toward a publishing project in the Majority World to help local pastors study God’s Word in their own language.
