The seminary is a key institution—it is where the rising generation of pastors are being trained! Many Majority World students cannot afford to buy study books; they rely on the seminary library to feed their studies. However, many seminary libraries do not have the books that students need, nor the funds to acquire them.
Our Library Grant Programme offers Majority World seminaries a yearly credit to buy needed books at discounted prices. This modest grant is appreciable for many schools and affords them a unique opportunity to acquire new books on a yearly basis.
Last year we offered grants to over 1200 seminaries in the Majority World, giving them access to resources in English and French as well as a few in local languages. Since English is increasingly a global language, the grant was offered in over 80 countries!
