“Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land.”
–Proverbs 25:25

Whenever the Word of God is faithfully expounded and applied, congregations grow in both size and depth. So if the great need is a rise in the standards of biblical preaching, how can we help to ensure a steady supply of better preachers?
John Stott believed that to preach and teach effectively, pastors need books. In 1974 he started to set aside his own money to help pastors in the Majority World buy good books. Soon books were shipping to pastors in many countries of Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Thirty years on, this effort continues to grow and to help meet literature needs for thousands of pastors and bible students around the world.
Langham Literature offers ten distribution and creative programs that faithfully serve Majority World seminary students and pastors with the books they need to preach and teach effectively. Please consider giving to support these preachers with evangelical study resources.
